Business tax returns
Sole proprietors, rentals and farms, partnerships, S corporations and C corporations.
Nonprofits, estates and trusts
Nonprofit returns, estate and trust fiduciary returns, gift tax returns and other specialty filings.
Year-round tax planning

Straight answers, all year
Every client gets the same four commitments.
All the tax savings the law allows, with no aggressive positions that put you at risk later.
Your options explained in everyday words, not tax jargon, so you can make the call.
Talk to Gary before you buy, sell, hire or retire. Evening and weekend appointments are available.
Continuing education every year, and a referral to the right specialist when something is outside the practice.
Built here, for clients
Gary builds his own planning and bookkeeping tools, so clients get answers faster and in plain numbers: tax projections you can follow, health insurance credit worksheets, and monthly books with a short letter explaining what changed.
Some tools are free for anyone to use at sinchintools.com. Short tax videos are on the Sinchin Tax YouTube channel, and a short monthly newsletter keeps clients up to date.

Gary A. West Jr., EA
- Enrolled Agent
- BS in Accounting, Husson College
- In practice since 1992
Gary A. West Jr., EA has prepared taxes and kept books for Maine families and businesses for more than 35 years. After earning his BS in Accounting from Husson College in 1987, he worked at his father's firm, Accounting & Administrative Services, serving Maine's forest products industry, and opened his own practice in 1992.
As an Enrolled Agent, Gary is federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS in audits, collections and appeals. Many of his clients have been with him for decades.
Gary and his wife Andrea are both teachers at heart. Gary has taught adult and youth martial arts for the City of Brewer for more than 30 years, and Andrea was a first-grade teacher before joining the practice in 2005. They travel often in their RV, so the office goes where they go. Clients anywhere in the U.S. can work with Gary online, and local clients are always welcome in Brewer.
