Gary graduated from Husson College in Bangor, Maine in 1987 with a B.S. in Accounting. Prior to opening his own accounting business in 1992, he worked in his father's, Gary A. West, Sr., firm Accounting & Administrative Services which specialized in the Forest Products Industry.
Gary is grateful for his many long time clients from a wide mix of professions and states of life; such as Convenience Stores, Auto Sales & Service, Food & Beverage, Wholesale Distribution, Medical Professionals, Legal, Pharmaceutical, Construction Trades, Real Estate Agents, Investers & Landlords, Military, Educators, Forest Products, Trucking, Farmers, Fishermen, Fraternal & Religious Organizations, Professional Services, Retirees and College Students.
When Gary is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Andrea and four children McKenzie, Asianna, Andrew and Alexandrea. He is also a martial artist and has been the karate instructor for the City of Brewer Parks and Recreation Department "Brewer School of Karate" since 1995.
